A total of 937 units have been allocated to these 635 institutions.

Out of this, 173 units have been allocated to 120 institutions in Bangla Academy premises and 764 units to 515 institutions in Sorowardhi Udyan section.

Law enforcement forces have made extensive preparations for the book fair. A safety net has been laid at several levels around the book fair.

This year, the fair authorities have adopted various arrangements to keep the fair clean. In order to keep the fair polythene free, this time the authority has completely banned the use of polythene in the fair and the food hotels have also been directed not to throw any garbage outside.
